La Plana de l’Arc receives the award for Tourist Promotion from TurisCope

The other day, the inter-municipal association made up of the municipalities of Benlloc,
Cabanes, Les Coves de Vinromà, La Torre d’en Domenec, Vall d’Alba, Vilafamés and
Vilanova d’Alcolea, received the recognition for “Tourist Dynamization”, celebrated yesterday
by the COPE radio network in its VII edition of awards, for its great commitment to the Open
Air Museum, which has brought a great boost of visitors to the area with the installation of
the 7 arches, 7 chairs and, more recently, 7 large bicycles.
These awards are gifted to the best companies, associations and municipalities related to
tourism and leisure at the provincial level. On this occasion, a total of 10 winners were
distributed in categories such as “Tourism Commitment”, “Sports Tourism” or “Tourism
Innovation”.
La Plana del Arco wants to show its satisfaction for the recognition received, which highlights
both its touristic product, the Open-Air Museum and the Green Roads Network, as well as
the more than 60 companies that are part of the Sustainable Product Club.
