They say that rock art was the first great storyteller. The origins of Les Coves de Vinromà, in 6,000 BC, lie in the Valltorta gulley and are part of the Rock Art of the Iberian Mediterranean Basin. This exceptional legacy of life was added to by Iberians, Romans and Muslims, until Jaume I conquered Les Coves in August 1233.
