Boost Cycling Tourism in the Plana de l’Arc!

The promotion of cycling tourism in Spain is gaining momentum with the Pedal Spain project, led by Biela y Tierra in collaboration with a consortium of 12 organizations and coordinated by ConBici. This initiative aims to position Spain as a European leader in sustainable tourism and cycling tourism, taking advantage of the country’s geographic diversity and favorable climate.

To introduce the project and gather ideas on the development of bicycle-related tourism activities, participatory workshops will be held in various locations. This time, Villafamés (Castellón) will be the venue for a key meeting to explore the opportunities the area offers for cycling tourism development.

During the workshop, key local stakeholders, business owners, associations, and anyone interested in local development are invited to share their vision on the promotion of the area, the environment, tourism activities, bicycle-related services, necessary infrastructures, the primary sector, and other relevant aspects to boost sustainable tourism.
