La Plana de l’Arc held a meeting with the Regional Minister for Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, Marián Cano, with the aim of defining new short- and medium-term tourism development projects to boost inland tourism in the province of Castellón.

At the meeting, held this Monday in the brand’s territory, participants included the Mayor of Benlloc, Ángel Ribes; the Mayor of Cabanes, Virginia Martí; the Mayor of Les Coves de Vinromà, Irma Povedano; the Mayor of La Torre d’en Doménec, Manolo Roig; the Councillor of Vall d’Alba, Andrés Gual; and the Councillor of Vilafamés, Raúl Forcadell; as well as the President of the Business Association and representatives from the seven municipalities that make up la Plana de l’Arc: Benlloc, Cabanes, Les Coves de Vinromà, La Torre d’en Doménec, Vall d’Alba, Vilafamés, and Vilanova d’Alcolea.

During the meeting, participants highlighted the importance of collaborative work between territories and administrations to ensure the sustainability and consolidation of inland tourist destinations. In this regard, Minister Cano emphasized that “la Plana de l’Arc represents a model of cooperation that enhances the value of our territory’s heritage, culture, nature, and identity.”

This meeting follows the first encounter held last June with the Regional Secretary for Tourism, José Manuel Camarero, demonstrating the Generalitat’s commitment to a coordinated approach to inland tourism and the continuation of strategies proposed by the different territories.

The Minister expressed her willingness to continue collaborating with the destinations involved, studying support mechanisms to ensure the continuity of ongoing initiatives, and highlighting their strategic value for the sustainable tourism development of the Valencian Community.

This new meeting made it possible to define a common roadmap and establish joint lines of work that will guide la Plana de l’Arc’s tourism projects in the short and medium term.
